Not that I'm trying to go against the grain or anything--I thought the Dark Knight was phenomenal--but my favorite will always be Batman Returns.

I loved the dark, solemnly Christmas look of Gotham City. Michelle Pfeiffer and Danny DeVito's performances were top notch, and to this day are my favorite portrayals of Catwoman and Penguin. And before he went on to lose his sinister disposition due to his roles in more comedic films and appearances on SNL, Christopher Walken's character was just bone-chilling to watch back in the day. As for Michael Keaton? He's the best Batman out there, bitches! And he doesn't have to revert to "deepthroat" when he puts the cowl on, either--take that, Bale!

And did I mention there are so many memorable lines in this one? Great deliveries, too.

"Don't hurt us, lady! Our take-home's less than three-hundred!"
"You're overpaid, hit the road!"

As far as I'm concerned the only 2 Batman movies that matter are Batman (with Jack Nicholson as the Joker) and the Dark Knight. I liked Batman returns as a kid, but that's a distant, distant third.

While I picked the Dark Knight (it's by far my favorite), I'm with you on Batman Returns. I loved what they did with the Catwoman and Penguin characters. They made them more sinister, more legitimate. I never took either of those villains seriously until that movie. Of course, Halle Berry had to go and re-ruin Catwoman, though.





...Seriously.

Halle Berry is a sweet piece of ass I'd love to pinch no matter what she's covered in...but that costume is horrendous. The whole movie goes without saying, really. I don't know what they were thinking when they green-lighted that shit. Catwoman takes revenge on a cosmetics company? Fuck that.

Jesus,man..... And to think,I went to theaters with my sweet old mom to watch this.I don't know what compelled me to agree to that....

Mark Hamill laughs for 4 minutes. Best shit ever.

My favorite is Batman Begins because Christian Bale did a wonderful job portraying the brooding future Batman, and it gave insight into how Bruce Wayne became Batman, also it answered key questions about his parents and what happened to them.
